We will not disclose information about you to anyone outside the Department for Work and Pensions unless the law permits us or unless you have given us your explicit consent.

Our website does not enable our visitors to communicate with other visitors or for them to post information to be accessed by others. The Department for Work and Pensions is the Data Controller for the purpose of the Data Protection Act. If you want to know more about the information we have about you, or the way we use it, you can ask at your social security office.

The Pension Service is part of the Department for Work and Pensions. The Department was formed on 8 June 2001 from parts of the former Department of Social Security, and parts of the former Department for Education and Employment.
